Sharon Ware was an Associate General Counsel at State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company. Prior to her current role, she served as Lead Counsel in the Claim Litigation Section. Formerly, Mrs. Ware also served as Managing Attorney for the Atlanta Claim Litigation Counsel Office. She began her career with the Law Students Civil Rights Research Council (LSCCRC), and worked in private practice, with the State of Georgia. Mrs. Ware fondly remembers her time as a Staff Attorney for Atlanta Legal Aid Society, where she represented indigent clients in landlord tenant disputes, as well as domestic and senior citizens' issues. This began her continuing passion for pro bono efforts and her dedication to professional and community service. 

Mrs. Ware served for two years as Chair of the Law Department's Pro Bono Committee and is currently Co-Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, where she previously served as the Chair of the State Bar of Georgia Insurance Committee, and the Illinois State Bar. Mrs. Ware is a past President of the Atlanta CPCU Society. She also served on the State Bar of Georgia Professionalism Committee, Lawyers’ Advertising Task Force, and the Disciplinary Investigative Panel. Mrs. Ware is a past Board Member of the Atlanta Council of Younger Lawyers. She is a graduate of the National African American Women's Leadership Institute (NAAWLI), graduate of Leadership America and member of the 2019 Multicultural Leadership Program (MCLP).
