Harlan Bradford is a Principal Account Executive with Pegasystems, an enterprise AI decisioning and workflow automation platform that unlocks business-transforming outcomes with real-time optimization. He has over twenty-five years of progressive sales experience with demonstrated success in the areas of direct sales, program development, account management, contract negotiations, and client development.
Prior to joining Pegasystems, Harlan worked for Salesforce and Accenture helping clients solve complex business challenges through various software solutions. Harlan was the founder and former Executive Officer of The Bradford Group, LLC, a full service personal and commercial mortgage brokerage servicing the needs of personal buyers, real estate investors and business owners through providing a variety of mortgage programs and advisory services. Harlan developed quality control modules and fraud prevention programs that ensured compliance with company and Georgia Banking and Finance policies and standards. Harlan co-created the Customer Reconciliation System that assessed client needs against program deliverables to improve overall service delivery and customer retention.
When Harlan moved to Atlanta in 1995, he served as a Major Account Manager for Pitney Bowes where he was responsible for direct sales of mailing machines and shipping software products. Harlan sold products ranging from $10,000 to $5,000,000 to executives and C-suite key stakeholders. Harlan established a new competitive displacement program for shipping applications within the Georgia area, and assisted representatives in capitalizing on shipping opportunities within various territories. As a Senior Account Manager for Kewill Solutions, Harlan developed a lead referral program with alliance and business partners to build joint opportunities.
Harlan has used several Sales Methodologies to prospect, qualify and close software opportunities; and sold solutions that interfaced with complex business applications to maximize customer’s billing, rating, and routing accuracy. Bradford’s experience includes lifecycle selling and promotion of products and services from client identification, needs assessments, contract negotiations and product installation. He has successfully implemented highly integrated inventory management and shipment routing solutions to reduce deficiencies and improve operational efficiencies. Harlan has served as the District Sales Manager for Progress Software in Atlanta, GA and as a Major Account Manager for Pitney Bowes. As Branch Manager for Norwest Financial in Tucson, AZ, he served as liaison with Mexican American Communities in finance program negotiations.
Harlan holds a MBA from Georgia State University, a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Oral Roberts University, and a Certificate of Spanish Studies from the University of Salamanca in Spain. He speaks Spanish and enjoys traveling. He is the proud father of twins Madison Olivia and Harlan Mason. Harlan has a passion for tomorrow’s leaders and scholars and tries to provide direction and encouragement to those he works with.
